RP GRAPHITE ELECTRODE
Regular power(RP) graphite electrode, which allows through the current density lower than 17A / cm2, RP graphite electrode is mainly used for ordinary power electric furnace in steelmaking,refining silicon, refining yellow phosphorus industries.

Description
RP electrode uses ordinary grade petroleum coke production, the raw material requirements are not high, graphitization temperature is low, so its resistivity is high, linear expansion coefficient is large, thermal shock resistance is poor, the allowable current is low, suitable for ordinary steelmaking. RP is suitable for common power arc furnace of 300Kv.A/t per ton furnace melting.
All the raw materials are mixed and then molded. Heat treatment is then applied in the baking and graphitization process to form the finished product.
