RP Graphite Electrode Introduce
Regular power (RP) grade graphite electrode are produced by ordinary grade petroleum coke production, the raw material requirements are not high quality, graphitization temperature is low, so RP grade graphite electrode’s resistivity is high, thermal shock resistance is poor, linear expansion coefficient is large,the allowable current is low, suitable for ordinary steelmaking. RP grade graphite electrode is more suitable for common power arc furnace of 300Kv.A/t per ton furnace melting.
